Joseph Altuzarra is the winner of this year's CFDA/Vogue Fashion Fund award. Pamela Love and Creature of the Wind's Shane Gabier and Chris Peters have been named its runners-up, announced at a dinner gala, held in New York last night.
Altuzarra will receive a $300,000 (£189,391), cash prize, while Love, Gabier and Peters will take home $100,000 (£63,117). Both winner and runners-up will be given a mentorship programme, supplied by key names from the industry.
This year's judging panel included Anna Wintour, the CFDA's Diane von Furstenberg and Steven Kolb, the Proenza Schouler designers - Jack McCollough and Lazaro Hernandez and J Crew's Jenna Lyons.
