TASA catches up with TAD student Jenna Mayers, who is attending her senior year in NYC at the Fashion Institute of Technology!

"A couple of the more recent pictures were from Fashions Night Out. Basically that night we went to Macy's and saw a handful of notable people doing events there. Then, we went to a small gallery/show of a designer that Emily Gruca works for. After that we went to BCBGmaxazaria where we saw Sophia Bush and were able to take a picture with here. Other then that we just walked around different shopping areas, some places had snacks or DJ's and what not. There are a TON of Fashions Night Out events so you just have to decide on where you want to go and be willing to wait in line for certain things. (2 girls went to meet the Victoria's Secret models and waited in line for hours)."
"School is good. I am in the Accessory Design program and honestly it hasn't been very rigorous so far. A lot of what we are currently working on are either things we did in Madison, or similar to things that we have done. However, I except that to change a lot once classes get into full swing. That being said, I really like all of my professors and am really excited to learn all about making shoes, working with leather, ect."--Jenna Mayers :)
